Rugby League in Durham is currently on an unprecedented high. The 2009/10 season saw DURLFC reaching the semi finals of the BUCS plate, finishing second in the league and a GB students selection. DURLFC is without doubt one of the closest-knit clubs within the University and not only does Student Rugby League offer a far greater playing standard than the college Rugby Union competition, it gives those both with and without League experience the chance to represent Durham at the hardest hitting contact sport in the world.
